The Cape Town Press Club mourns the passing of Mr Henry Steyn.

Henry served as Company Secretary of Stor-Age and was deeply involved in the Men’s Shed movement, which has become a powerful force in promoting health and wellbeing, helping men become valued and productive members of their communities. The initiative was created to bring together men from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful activities and projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged communities in Hout Bay.

Beyond his professional achievements and community involvement, Henry was a valued presence within the Press Club — thoughtful, engaged, and steadfast in his support of its mission. He was also a generous benefactor of the Club, always encouraging its work and contributing to its continued growth and relevance.

We honour Henry’s memory with gratitude, admiration, and respect, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
