Mpumelelo Mkhabela on why corruption has thrived and what is to be done about it

Political analyst and News24 columnist Mpumelelo Mkhabela says the ANC’s cadre project has been a complete failure that has seen the party and the country consumed by corruption.

His new book, The Enemy Within, traces the demise of the party, not just under Jacob Zuma but back to the days of Nelson Mandela’s presidency and Thabo Mbeki, through to the current dispensation, with pivotal moments such as the disbanding of the Scorpions, the Yengeni scandal and the Guptas.

Mkhabela will address the Press Club on why corruption thrived and what is to be done about it.  He will take questions.
