Minister Siviwe Gwarube on “Where are we now and where are we going”

Gwarube was appointed basic education minister in the Government of National Unity on 30 June 2024. Prior to this she was DA chief whip in the National Assembly, where she has been an MP since May 2019.

Gwarube has tabled legislation in Parliament seeking to stabilise coalition governments at local, provincial and national level. The legislation is currently proceeding through the law-making processes.

She will take questions.
