Vuyiso JJ Tyhalisisu on Key election issues raised by the ANC manifesto
Vuyiso JJ Tyhalisisu has been chairperson of the Western Cape ANC since 2023 when he defeated incumbent Cameron Dugmore at a long-delayed elective conference.
Hailing from the farming town of Ashton, near Robertson, Tyhalisisu campaigned on the basis that the voice of rural areas in the province needs to be heard. He is a former councillor in the City of Cape Town and served two terms as regional secretary of the now disbanded Dullah Omar region.
Mr Tyhalisisu will address the Cape Town Press Club on the key election issues raised by the ANC manifesto, the futility of Cape independence, and the potential for foreign policy issues to swing the election in the province.
