Roger Jardine on the 2024 Elections

Roger Jardine is the leader of Change Starts Now, a new political movement that will contend in South Africa’s upcoming General Election.

He will address the Cape Town Press Club on his strategy for the 2024 elections and the role he sees the movement possibly playing in a coalition government

Jardine, a former anti-apartheid activist, has experience in both the private and public sectors – as a South African business executive and a former director general in the government. In November 2023 he stepped down as chairperson of banking group FirstRand and founded Change Starts Now.

Jardine is chairperson of the Think Tank Centre for Development and Enterprise. He has a BSc in Physics and a Master’s in Radiological Physics.
