Prof Richard Calland on “the SA Presidency since 1994”

Richard  Calland is Associate Professor of Public Law at the University of Cape Town, founding partner of the Paternoster Group investment consultancy, and a veteran columnist at the Mail & Guardian newspaper. Author of a number of books on contemporary South African politics, Calland will talk to the Press Club about his latest volume, The Presidents: From Mandela to Ramaphosa, Leadership in an Age of Crisis, which examines the strengths and weaknesses of the five post-democracy presidents – Mandela, Mbeki, Motlanthe, Zuma and Ramaphosa.

He will take questions.
