Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis on the Progress towards a City of Hope

Geordin Hill-Lewis assumed office as Mayor of Cape Town on 18 November 2021.

A member of the Democratic Alliance, Hill-Lewis was first elected to Parliament in 2011 at the age of 24. At the time, he was the youngest MP to be elected and served as the Shadow Minister of Finance. He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of London.

We are honoured to have Mayor Hill-Lewis join the Cape Town Press Club to discuss the pressing challenges facing residents and share the progress made towards creating a “City of Hope”.

He will also take your questions.
