JP Landman on the three “timelines” of the Ramaphosa presidency – the economy, corruption and the ANC

Political analyst JP Landman will address the Cape Town Press Club on three “timelines” of the Ramaphosa presidency:  the economy, corruption and the ANC. 

Landman consults to Nedbank Private Wealth, one of the country’s largest private wealth managers. His specific areas of focus are politics, economics, demography and social capital. He was a member of the National Planning Commissions from 2015 to 2021. In 2013, he was elected a Public Policy Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Centre for International Scholars in Washington DC. He served on President Mbeki’s Economic Advisory Panel.

He has a BA LLB and MPhil in Future Studies from Stellenbosch University. He studied economics at Harvard and Oxford University. His book, “The Long View”, an analysis of trends in South Africa, was published in 2013 and has gone into four reprints.

He will take questions.
