Advocate Glynis Breytenbach on “The Shortfalls in Our Justice System”

Advocate Glynis Breytenbach will address the Cape Town Press Club on “The shortfalls in our justice system”. A former prosecutor for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and now a Member of Parliament, advocate Breytenbach is the Democratic Alliance’s shadow minister for justice. She has repeatedly called for an end to ongoing political interference that has compromised the integrity of the NPA. Suspended in 2012 from the NPA’s Specialized Commercial Crime Unit, she was in 2018 shortlisted for the position of National Director of Public Prosecutions, but later withdrew her candidacy.

She will take questions.
