He will reflect on his inaugural year as Rector and Vice-Chancellor of Stellenbosch University at the Cape Town Press Club on 27 March.\nRamjugernath was previously Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research and Pro Vice-Chancellor: Innovation, Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.\nHe is currently Vice-President of the Academy of Science of South Africa.\nRamjugernath is a scientist in the field of chemical engineering and specifically chemical thermodynamics and separation technology, and he became the youngest full professor in this field in Africa at age 31.\nProfessor Ramjugernath will take questions.\nPhoto: University World News\n
