Minister of Transport Barbara Creecy on “The economic revival of transport networks”

Barbara Creecy, the Minister of Transport, will talk about the economic revival of transport networks – air, sea, and land – in particular freight logistics and rail reform. She will take questions.

Creecy previously served as the Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment. She was one of the longest-serving members of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, including being Deputy Chief Whip. In 2004, she was appointed MEC for Sports, Recreation, Arts, and Culture.

Creecy holds an Honours Degree in political science from the University of the Witwatersrand and a master’s in public policy and management from the University of London.
